#3 Bodo’s Bagels
The number one thing people miss when they move away from Charlottesville is Bodo’s Bagels. Eating at Bodo’s is an experience. At peak times there is always a line that moves amazingly quickly. Breakfast and lunch are both very popular and the price is also a hit with students and townsfolk.
Bodos is very special and the owner Brian as well. He recently retired, and let his managers run the business which is a touch of class for sure. Best bagels in town because he went to New York Bagel School, so he could make the best. Everything is done just perfect, so come and enjoy one of the cheapest best breakfast in town, lunch on a bagel, or fabulous salad or omelet. It has it all.

I have been a Bodo’s fan from day one when they opened (1988?). As a local Realtor I always try to introduce new comers to Bodo’s during our Charlottesville Property tours. They never fail to thank me later!
